Michael Pizziferri


Michael Pizziferri is the Public and Government Affairs Attaché at the Québec Government Office in Boston, which represents Québec in the six New England states.

Kate Swope


Kate Swope is the Leased Housing Manager for Father Bill's and Mainspring, a housing-first nonprofit organization that focuses on housing chronically homeless individuals and families in Southeastern Massachusetts. Prior to that, she spent the past thirteen years overseeing case management and housing programs, budgets and disbursements for AIDS Action Committee.

Chantelle Boudreaux


As a consultant and researcher in health policy development, Chantelle Boudreaux has worked to ensure equitable and quality access to health services for vulnerable and underserved populations in more than a dozen countries. She is honored to support MassEquality’s mission to promote social justice across her adopted home state of Massachusetts.

Chantelle holds a B.A. from New College of Florida, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins SAIS, an M.H.S. from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Sc.D. from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Leela Strong


Leela Strong is the Director of Development & Communications for Casa Myrna, Boston’s leading provider of domestic and dating violence support services. She has spent the past 20 years working as a fundraiser, health policy analyst and social justice advocate both here and abroad.

Stan Zanarotti


Stan Zanarotti has been CTO and co-founder of Dimensional Insight, a small business intelligence software company, since 1989. He has previously served as President of MIT BGALA, MIT's LGBT alumni affinity group.

Lauren Rubenzahl

Vice Chair, Clerk

Lauren Rubenzahl is a Boston-area writer, editor, and educator who has served as a leader in multiple non-profit organizations. In her eight years at Boston Children’s Hospital, she managed the Center on Media and Child Health, a research center that aims to make media the most positive possible influence in children’s lives. She has also served as a leader in Voices Rising, Boston’s LGBT-identified women’s chorus. A singing member since 2009, she was a member of the Leadership Team for three years and completed terms as both Clerk and President.

Valerie Fein-Zachary


Valerie Fein-Zachary is a radiologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Department of Breast Imaging, and an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. In addition, Valerie was a co-founder and former president of the Freedom to Marry Coalition of Massachusetts and is a member of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association and Women in Medicine, a national lesbian physician organization.
