David is the son of an Air Force Colonel and a pastor. He hails (mostly) from Ohio. (Go Buckeyes!) In 2003, David moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music, where he majored in Music Business and Management. In 2004, David joined the marriage equality battle, attending rallies at the State House and volunteering with MassEquality. Before joining MassEquality full-time in 2009, David worked in management for an outpatient medical facility and as an independent contractor for the Concord Family and Youth Services. David lives in Cambridge with his husband, Justin.
MassEquality works to ensure that every lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender person in Massachusetts is protected from cradle to grave—with equal rights and opportunities in school, in marriage and family life, at work and in retirement.
