Kate Swope is the Leased Housing Manager for Father Bill's and Mainspring, a housing-first nonprofit organization that focuses on housing chronically homeless individuals and families in Southeastern Massachusetts. Prior to that, she spent the past thirteen years overseeing case management and housing programs, budgets and disbursements for AIDS Action Committee.

Kate also serves on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership (MAP). She has an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Boston University and received her BA from Northeastern University in Psychology.  An advocate since her early days, she was the co-president of Northeastern University‚Äôs LGBTQ student group for over three years.

A native of Maine and avid swimmer, Kate lives with her wife Alison and dog Oliver in Boston.
