Marcia Hams is the Project Leader of Community Catalyst's Physician/Consumer Collaboration on Prescription Drug Practices and the Medicaid Matters Project. Prior to working for Community Catalyst, Ms. Hams was Deputy Director for Programs at Health Care For All, a Community Catalyst partner and one of the most influential state consumer health organizations in the country.  Ms. Hams has over twenty-five years of experience as an organizer at Health Care For All and several unions, including the International Union of Electrical workers (Local 201) Service Employees International Union (Local 285) and the House Officers Association (now SEIU/CIR) at Boston City Hospital.  Ms. Hams and her wife were the first same-sex couple granted a marriage license in Massachusetts.
